Mandaboornap Dreaming Puppet Project

Puppet ProjectThe Mandaboornap (Frenchman's Peak) Dreaming Puppet Project is starting in the January school holidays with visiting puppet artist Karen Hethey(Fantisea project, 2007). We need lots of people to help build the giant puppets that will be used to tell the story of the boys who stole the eagle's eggs and were turned into islands in the archipelago. This puppet performance will be the official opening event for the 2017 Festival of the Wind on 16th March.

The workshops will be held at Nulsen Primary School. They are free and open to everyone and will run from Monday - Saturday 10am-12pm, 1-3pm and 4-6.30pm from 9th - 27th January. Children under 13 MUST be accompanied and supervised by an older guardian.
