Esperance Outside School Hours Care
Escare administers the Esperance Outside School Hours Care under the Commonwealth Governments Outside of School Hours Childcare programme. After School Care and Vacation Care are collectively known as Esperance Outside School Hours Care.
What does Outside School Hours Care Offer?
Esperance Outside School Hours Care offers quality childcare for pre-primary and primary school age children.
It provides an environment which encourages learning through creative play, spontaneity and provides security and care until the children are collected.
Esperance Outside School Hours Care is fully licensed under the State Department For Community Development guidelines
The service is undertaking a Quality Improvement process plan as part of the National Quality Framework Process that is happening Australia wide; recently receiving a $10.000.00 grant from Royalties for regions to assist in this process.
The service also received a grant from Lotterywest for $1239.00 to go towards the refurbishment of centre and new resouces including IT equipment for staff and children.
The centre has a dedicated team and many will be undertaking studies as part of the new standards. Parents can be assured that the service aims to be of the highest quality and is regularly checked by the licensing board as well as the National Quality Standards. Programming is completed for each individual child in care and reflect the Quality standards that are available to view at mychild.gov.au
Outside School Hours Care primarily assists working parents as well as parents who are studying or looking for jobs or by parents requiring respite..
After School Care Service
This programme runs Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.00 - 6.00 PM.
Educators collect the children from school and transport them to the George Street Centre. Afternoon tea is provided on arrival at the Centre.
A wide choice of learning activities are offered which encourage children to interact with their friends at the Centre. Homework may be undertaken at the Centre at parents request.
Vacation Care Service
This programme provides learning activiites for children during the school holidays, Monday to Friday, between 7.45am to 5.30pm.
Varied activities and excursions are developed for each holiday period. A programme is available to parents each holiday period.
Childcare Subsidy
Most families are eligible for Child Care Subsidy for out of pocket child care expenses if the parents or carers are working . If you need assistance in accessing these rebates you may contact the Escare Financial Counsellor on 90713101 ,
