Escare won the tender for Services to Young People in Esperance, funded by the former Family & Children’s Services.
Youth Worker, Ray Davis provides individual support as well as recreational activities.

Escare was offered additional funds for 12 months to provide Outreach Family Support to Ravensthorpe. The Coordinator conducted Parenting groups as well as visited individuals on a regular basis.
Soon after, Escare was short listed for the annual Community Development Awards in the category of Support in Rural and Remote Areas.
Escare was identified by the Bay of Isles Aboriginal Community, as being a place where Aboriginal women seek assistance.
The Manager, Doc Reynolds lobbied the Dept. For Community Development to fund a female Aboriginal Support Worker with ESCARE being the host employer.
